FC 'Spartak' Arena, Moscow, Russia

The Arena is the new home to the most famouse Russian football club - FC 'Spartak' Moscow, and a key venue for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The facade design provides a state of the art stadium which reflects the tradition and history of Moscow’s football club.
The façade of the 47,000+ capacity stadium features around 600 giant glass shingles inspired by the Spartak diamond insignia to create an armor-like effect. Our scope of works in this challenging project included lighting and media facades consulting, value engineering and mock-up design and management.
