Olympic Hotel, Moscow, Russia
The lighting concept for the new Rezidor hotel in Moscow is based on the idea of creating a unique lighting image of the hotel, and is transformed depending on the various parameters of the environment. For example, the time of a day, humidity, temperature and other factors.
Very slowly during the evening hours the building is transformed which isn’t perceptible for the car drivers passing by the hotel, but noticeably enough for visitors of the cafes and restaurants around the hotel, creating a memorable experience and enriching the nightscape of the area.
The linear LED lighting fittings are fully integrated into the facades making them invisible during the day time and reducing the installation and future maintenance costs of the lighting system.
